There was a time I believed success meant finding the perfect picture.

The perfect business.

The perfect city.

The perfect relationship.

The perfect version of myself.

But life has a way of humbling perfection.

Before real estate — before The Cathey Edit — there is Model Amore.

Model Amore was never simply a salon. It was built through beauty, transformation, conversation, exhaustion, reinvention, and faith. What began as a space centered around hair slowly became something much deeper — a place where people came to feel seen again.

And that has not changed.

Model Amore is simply evolving in a new direction.

What once existed primarily through beauty services is now expanding into fashion, beauty, lifestyle, creative expression, and personal transformation alongside The Cathey Edit. Both brands exist together — different expressions of the same philosophy:

Because hair was never just hair to me.A mirror has always told the truth.

I watched people sit in my chair carrying heartbreak, transitions, grief, ambition, insecurity, divorce, new love, career shifts, and identity shifts — entire lives hidden beneath polished appearances. Beauty taught me that transformation rarely begins on the surface. It begins the moment someone decides they deserve a different experience of themselves.

That understanding naturally followed me into real estate.

Because a home is never just a home.

It is identity.

Safety.

Aspiration.

Memory.

Proof of survival.

And somewhere between Model Amore and The Cathey Edit, I realized both businesses had always been speaking to the same thing:

ALIGNMENT.

I often think about life like a puzzle. Every piece has a place. But sometimes, while trying to force the picture together, we place pieces where they never belonged —

relationships,

careers,

cities,

expectations,

even versions of ourselves we outgrew years ago.

Eventually, those misplaced pieces begin to disturb your Peace.

At the same time, we are always working on pieces and placing them where they belong. Piece by piece, decision by decision, we are constantly rebuilding, rearranging, healing, growing, and becoming.

The difficult part is that from far away, the puzzle can still look beautiful. Successful, even. But up close, you can feel the tension in the image — the pressure of forcing what does not fit.

I know that feeling intimately.

What I’ve learned is this: even when the puzzle finally comes together, no matter how beautiful the

image becomes, it will never exist without cracks.

Life leaves evidence.

Loss leaves evidence.

Growth leaves evidence.

But cracks are not failures.They are proof the pieces survived assembly.

That perspective shapes the way I work now.

Through The Cathey Edit, I am not simply helping clients buy or sell property. I am helping people transition into alignment — into spaces, cities, investments, and lifestyles that reflect who they are becoming instead of who they were trying to survive as.
